summer vacation day forty nine
we headed up north today. here the boy is not too happy in front of profile lake and the late old man on the mountain above him.
here he is at the water park of santa's village. we are definitely coming here again.

taking a break from swimming to fix up the bathroom. i painted the vanity and replaced the vanity top, added a little shelf. so much harder than i thought.

it is so hot we decided to go to a local waterpark. too bad a severe thunderstorm shooed us away early.

our city's main street shuts down for a few days each summer and welcomes throngs of people to explore new shops and such. since i grew up here is has become somewhat of a tradition for me. i look forward to this each year. too bad is was so hot this year.

my husband went back to work today and we've been itching to go swimming. looks like no one else is today. we found a brief respite from the rain today.
