another tooth gone. we were getting ready to sit down to dinner when i hear, "mommy....here." he handed me the tooth.

tonight we sung till our hearts seemed to burst. i am so thrilled to be a part of this, and hope to for a long time. the pews were packed tightly with people. i have no idea what worship will be like in heaven, but i suspect it would sound a little like us tonight.

the local shriners have an annual christmas raffle. businesses decorate christmas trees to be won by anxious ticket holders. here's hoping we win! at least he won the scavenger hunt.

with much hesitation and almost quitting, i joined our community choir to sing in their annual production of handel's messiah. today we practiced in the church where we will be performing. this is something i've always wanted to do but it was a real mental struggle to commit. i am glad i did. our practice was wonderful today and i truly felt blessed to sing about the messiah, to the messiah.

mason received his first official report card today. academically he is soaring. behaviorally he is floundering.

today is national remembrance day. remembering (as if we never forget) the children lost due to miscarriage, or still birth, or any horrific reason for that matter. we lost  released corbin on may 7, 2011. october 15 is coincidentally his original due date. i have come to a place of complacency. it saddens me when i force myself to think about that day. it saddens me to think about what could have been. but i rejoice that he is alive, waiting for me and his dad and brother.

we celebrated our tenth anniversary from this mountaintop cabin.
